Publication of sampling protocol for monitoring contaminants in birds of prey

The European Raptor Biomonitoring Facility (ERBF), of which the PBMS is a part, has published a protocol that provides guidance on sample collection in raptors. The aim is to provide a standard guide to facilitate harmonised sampling methods for contaminant monitoring.

The protocol is published as the Supplementary Material of a perspective article in the journal Ambio (Espin et al, 2020. A schematic sampling protocol for contaminant monitoring in raptors. Ambio https://doi.org/10.1007/s13280-020-01341-9.  It is an open access document and can be downloaded using the doi or from the PBMS scientific papers page.
