PBMS suspended over the Christmas period (and thank you!)

The PBMS team are taking a well-earned break over the Christmas period; therefore, we will not be able to receive any further bird submission enquiries from 17th December 2018 until 7th January 2019.

If you find a bird over the Christmas period, if possible, please keep it wrapped in a plastic bag and frozen.  If you contact the team from the 7th January, we will then send you out a box as soon as possible.

If it is not possible to keep the bird frozen then please dispose of the bird as it is unlikely that the bird will be sufficiently preserved prior to receipt.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the success of the PBMS over the past year by sending birds and eggs.

Merry Christmas from the Predatory Bird Monitoring Scheme
