PBMS closure - 16th December 2022 to 3rd January 2023

The PBMS team are taking a well-earned break over the Christmas period; we will not be able to receive any further bird submission enquiries from 16th December 2022 until 3rd January 2023.

Due to the increase in Avian Influenza we do not recommend freezing the bird unless you have separate facilities away from food.

If you find a bird and are able to store it please leave a message or send a contact form and we will be in touch on the 3rd January, we will then send you out a box as soon as possible. If it is not possible to keep the bird frozen or very cold then please dispose of the bird as it is unlikely that the bird will be sufficiently preserved prior to receipt.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the success of the PBMS over the past year by sending birds and eggs.

Wishing a very merry Christmas to wit to woo (you)
