The PBMS team have returned to the labs and so we can begin to receive submissions of dead predatory birds. Currently, we are operating with a skeleton staff and so there may be some delays in our response to your enquiries and sending out boxes for submission of birds. Therefore, we ask you to, where possible, freeze the bird (wrapped in a plastic bag) so that the bird is preserved in as good a state as possible.
If you find a dead bird of prey and wish to submit a bird to the scheme please contact us on: 01524 595830
or use our enquiries form
Further advice on what to do when submitting birds can be here: https://pbms.ceh.ac.uk/content/send-us-birds
The PBMS team appreciates your contribution to the scheme and your patience in these challenging times.
