We are very sorry to report that Professor Richard Shore died suddenly on Tuesday 28 July.
We are all shocked and saddened at losing Richard. Not only was he was a truly lovely colleague and friend who made a huge contribution to pollution and wildlife science worldwide, but he was the principal investigator of the PBMS, founding member of WILDCOMS, and our brilliant boss. Those of us at UKCEH who worked with Richard on PBMS and WILDOMS will continue the work he started.
We will miss him terribly and our thoughts are with his family.
A tribute to Richard has been published on the UKCEH website.
