In early September 2024 the PBMS team, accompanied by UKCEH Pollution Science Area Head Claus Svendsen, met with members of the Natural England (NE) Ecotoxicology team to discuss current and future research priorities.
Natural England is a key funding partner of UKCEH’s Predatory Bird Monitoring Scheme (PBMS) having supported the scheme since the early 2000s and the meeting was part of ongoing collaborative work.
Natural England leads on terrestrial chemical monitoring to address the UK Government's 25-Year Environment Improvement Plan and so NE shares a wide range of research interests with UKCEH, researchers working for the PBMS and UKCEH’s Pollution science area.
