World Migratory Bird Day webinar TODAY at 12 noon

BirdLife International Africa and the African CSOs Biodiversity Alliance are pleased to invite you to their webinar “Collaborating to Conserve Migratory Birds in Africa” on Friday 7 May at 11:00 UTC.

During the webinar, the panel of experts will:

  • Highlight the importance of birds
  • Increase understanding on migratory birds in Africa and population trends in the recent years
  • Shed light on challenges faced by birds as they move from one place to another
  • Highlight existing policy instruments in ensuring cross-country collaboration in conserving migratory birds
  • Highlight a few projects that organizations, communities and youth are implementing in Africa to conserve migratory birds.
