The PBMS held its annual funding stakeholder meeting in London on Monday 14th November with representatives from Natural England and the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use.
The achievements of the PBMS over the last 12 months were discussed and the future work programme for this year was agreed. We will focus on monitoring rodenticide contamination in red kites, continue to gather and provide the samples needed for monitoring rodenticide residues in barn owl under the UK Rodenticide Stewardship regime, and further developing our work on using information we gather from the birds we receive to generate indices of population health.
