New job vacancy at Natural England - Senior Specialist Environmental Impacts (Agrochemicals and Ecotoxicology)

This is a new role at Natural England that will require expert knowledge and understanding of the evidence on environmental risks and impacts of agrochemicals to help build the evidence base to inform both policy and delivery for this extensive and growing work area. We are looking for someone who has skills across the interface of pesticides/ecotoxicology and ecology with a broad understanding of delivery through key mechanisms such as regulatory regimes, Agri-Environment schemes, Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF). A wider understanding of Natural England’s and other government agencies’ broader roles in environmental monitoring is desirable. This role will play a critical part in helping Natural England meet its aspirations of being an evidence-led organisation.
