Thanks for your patience - the contact form is now fixed. However, if you're still experiencing difficulty in contacting us using the form, please let us know by emailing pbms@ceh.ac.uk.

Just a reminder that the scheme recieves about a thousand queries and on average 600 birds each year. Apologies if we do not get back to you straight away, or have not carried out a post mortem on your bird yet. We rely on funding, and have to focus our efforts on bird of prey work that is directly funded. We fit other post mortems and analyses in where possible and retain all bird submissions in a dedicated freezer facility.

The PBMS website is provided by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology under the terms of the UKCEH Privacy policy which sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Information collected by the PBMS will be used for scientific purposes only under the GDPR lawful basis of Legitimate interests, not shared with any other party and retained for the duration of the project.
