PBMS suspended over the Christmas period (and a thank you!)

The PBMS team will take a well-earned break over the Christmas period; we will not be able to receive bird submission enquiries from 15th December 2017 until 2nd January 2018.

Additionally our office won’t receive post after Wednesday 20th December, so if you wish to post a bird to us please ensure you leave enough time for it to reach us by this date.

If you find a bird over Christmas please keep it wrapped in a plastic bag and frozen. You will be able to contact us and we will send out bird submission boxes from the 2nd January onwards.

If it is not possible to keep the bird frozen then please dispose of the bird as it is unlikely that the bird will be sufficiently preserved prior to receipt.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the success of the PBMS over the past year by sending birds and eggs.
